The Island stoves can be fitted with a smoke reducing (SR) kit allowing wood to be burnt in smoke control areas and making them DEFRA exempted appliances. |

CHARNWOOD’S range of boiler stoves are designed specifically for those wishing to run a full central heating system. The benefits of a ‘real fired’ central heating system as opposed to gas, electric or oil are numerous: the constant heat source, elimination of condensation and the continual air changes caused by a ‘breathing’ heating appliance, are far more beneficial to health and well-being than its counterparts. The high efficiency of these Charnwood boilers also offer significant environmental benefits; producing less CO2 emissions than an equivalent gas or oil boiler. As with all our wood and multi-fuel burning models we incorporate an airwash system which will ensure superb clean-burning and a clear view of the fire regardless of what fuels are burnt. The Cove 2B, Island IIIb, Country 16b, SLX and LA stoves also feature our unrivalled riddling grate as standard to allow easy removal of ash. The grate can also be opened slightly to increase burning rate when required. The reputationof our boiler models is unrivalled in the market place and we are widely considered to be the clear market leaders in this field. |
