Stovax Stoves
Stovax have been dedicated to making wood burning stoves for nearly 30 years. We have stove models and colours to suit all interiors. Our wood burning and multi fuel stoves use the latest combustion technologies to produce maximum heat output from the fuel, make the fires quick to start, easy to maintain and even keep the glass cleaner for longer.
Woodburning and Solid Fuel
All Stovax stoves are designed either for multi-fuel use, which means they burn logs, smokeless fuels or peat/turf briquettes, or as wood burners only.
Multi-fuel stoves have a riddling grate which allows ash to be riddled into a built-in ash pan to create the optimum conditions for efficient combustion. Wood burners have a fixed grate and no ash pan, since wood burns best on a bed of ashes.
Hot Water, Radiators and Underfloor Heating
Several Stovax wood burning/multi-fuel stoves are designed to be fitted with optional boiler systems and details of these can be found on the online brochure. Additionally, Stovax offer a selection of High-output Boiler models that come with the boiler built in.
If you choose a stove with an integral High-output Boiler, you can not only supply yourself with domestic hot water but even run your radiators all from the same appliance.
Alternatively, you can ‘link up’ a Stovax boiler stove with your conventional oil or gas fuelled central heating system. This link up system will not only reduce reliance on your heating being provided from a single fuel source but, if burning wood, will also make your heating better for our environment through lower carbon emissions.
‘Link up’ can also connect with gas or oil, sealed heating systems, combi’s, underfloor heating, advanced electronic controls and solar panels to make even more flexible systems.
For more details, see our link up technology guide at www.stovax.com/linkup.
Airtight Construction
All Stovax stove doors, except the Regency, have airtight seals which permit airflows to be precisely controlled. This allows both the heat output and refuelling frequency to be varied and helps maximise burning efficiency.
Perfect Flame Control
The triple air system in certain stoves also allows complete control of the flame picture. From a deep glow, with minimal flames, it takes only a few seconds to fill the firebox with swirling flames from the fuel and jets of flame from the Cleanburn ports.
Enamel Stoves
Enamel is a very thin coating of coloured glass which is fired at over 800°C on to a metal surface. To achieve its translucent and lustrous finish, each casting is especially designed for enamelling and is coated and fired twice. Enamel is an option on many stoves, and available in up to three colours.

Stovax Riva Cassettes Range
Riva 40 Multi Fuel Fire
![]() |
Giving you more heat for your money.
The smallest model in the Riva range is designed to fit a standard, 22" (560mm) high x 16" (405mm) wide, British fireplace opening with the chair brick removed. So you can update the look of your living room with minimal construction work and, possibly without the need to remove the existing hearth and mantel. Alternatively the Riva 40 fire can be installed as a 'hole in the wall' fire.
In addition to providing contemporary style, a Riva 40 fire significantly increases the level of heat in your room compared to a conventional open fire. Combustion efficiency is up to 4 times greater; giving you more heat for your money and lower fuel costs.
Colour choices: Storm Metallic or Midnight Black Metallic paint.
Heat output 1.5 – 4.9kW
Riva 55 Multi Fuel Fire

Enhance your heating options.
With greater heat output and a large window to view the flames, the Riva 55 cassette fire can be installed into a standard British fireplace opening which is 915mm h x 915mm w x 460mm d (36"h x 36"w x 18"d). It can also be installed as a ‘built in to the wall’ fire. Both options are available with a choice of standard or wide frames.
The Riva 55 offers you two accessories to enhance your heating options:
- The first is fan-assisted convection for quicker warming of the room when the Riva is first lit.
- The second is a ducting system that can distribute warm air into the same room or to other living spaces.
Installing the fan and ducting system together will maximise the benefits from this impressive 8kW cassette fire.
Colour choices: Storm Metallic or Midnight Black Metallic paint.
Heat Output 2.1 – 8.0kW
Riva 66 Avanti Multi Fuel Fire
![]() |
A magnificent, landscape-shaped cassette fire.
Sharing exactly the same firebox features as the standard Riva 66, the Avanti differs only by its more contemporary styling - offering a design in its own right. Above and below the door are finely proportioned Midnight Black steel panels whilst the door itself is gently curved and finished in Storm metallic paint.
The door handle locates on the right and may be removed after refuelling. The controls are discreetly positioned under the door so all you see are the crisp, clean lines of the Avanti surrounding a swirling picture of flame.
If you expect to burn mainly smokeless fuel, then due to the larger firebox, you may wish to consider the optional 'reducing' kit. This decreases the amount of fuel you need to load but it also guides the fuel and cinders towards the grate for improved combustion. However, you may still burn wood with equal efficiency.
Furthermore, you can optimise the heating potential of the Riva 66 Avanti fire with two accessories:
- The first is a fan-assisted convection kit, which boosts warm air entering the room at just the flick of a switch.
- The second is a ducting system that diffuses some of the heat to other points in the same room or into other living spaces.
Or install both the fan and ducting system for ultimate heat distribution.
Colour: Storm Metallic/Midnight Black Metallic.
Heat output 2.4kW – 8.0kW
